WHERE BHARATANATYAM, STORYTELLING, AND CULTURE COME ALIVE

Natyamargam is a Bharatanatyam academy and creative production platform dedicated to preserving the richness of Indian classical arts through dance education, performances, filmmaking, choreography, and cultural storytelling. Founded by Guru Smt. Indrani Davaluri, Natyamargam bridges tradition with contemporary artistic expression while inspiring future generations through meaningful art.

Rooted in Tradition.
Guided by Purpose.

Natyamargam is a premier Bharatanatyam institution committed to preserving, teaching, and celebrating the timeless beauty of Indian classical dance and cultural storytelling.

Founded by Guru Smt. Indrani Davaluri, Natyamargam was built with the vision of creating an artistic space where discipline, expression, heritage, and education coexist. What began as a passion for Bharatanatyam has grown into a movement that nurtures dancers, empowers artists, and creates culturally impactful experiences across stage and screen.

At Natyamargam, Bharatanatyam is taught not simply as movement, but as a language of emotion, storytelling, spirituality, and identity. Students receive strong foundational training while developing artistic confidence, stage presence, discipline, and cultural awareness.

Through performances, workshops, productions, and anatomy-aware dance education, Natyamargam continues to preserve the authenticity of Indian classical arts while making them meaningful and relevant for today’s generation.

At Natyamargam, we believe Bharatanatyam is more than a classical dance form. It is a powerful expression of culture, discipline, storytelling, and self-discovery. Through structured training, artistic productions, cultural collaborations, and anatomy-aware education, we create a space where tradition is preserved with authenticity while empowering students and audiences to experience the deeper emotional and spiritual essence of Indian classical arts.

Natyam - Beyond Movement

Natyam is an upcoming book by Guru Smt. Indrani Davaluri that explores Bharatanatyam through the lens of anatomy, alignment, strength, injury prevention, and artistic awareness.

Designed for dancers, teachers, and lovers of Indian classical arts, the book bridges traditional Bharatanatyam wisdom with modern anatomical understanding to encourage safer, stronger, and more sustainable dance practices.

Built from years of research, performance experience, and teaching, Natyam reflects a deeper mission to help dancers understand not only how to move beautifully, but how to preserve their bodies while honoring the integrity of the art form.
